Janice Gibert : CEO : Janice is a native Memphian whose dream of opening a senior care company has come to be an amazing reality. While filling a self satisfaction by working in the travel industry for 23 years, she realized something was missing. Switching careers in 2006, Janice found her calling making a difference in the care for the seniors in and around the community of Memphis. As a caregiver for her own aging family members, Janice quickly understood firsthand the importance of delivering personalized and loving care while balancing her own household’s needs. With a heart for service and a passion for others, she soon realized the importance of doing more for everyone. Janice has brought with her a motivation to set the industry standard for excellent senior care as well as the compassion for each one of her caregivers. She has been blessed with a wonderful husband, two beautiful children, and is an avid runner and athlete.

Jason Gibert : Director : Jason was instrumental in the formation of Senior Care Management Solutions in late 2009, but has come on board full time as Director in December 2010. Most recently Jason was an Account Executive and Sales Professional in the home building industry for Masco Contractor Services. While at Masco, Jason was one of the top salesmen in the region. He built and cultivated relationships with contractors and building professionals throughout Memphis and North Mississippi. In addition, he sat on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of North Mississippi where he chaired the Associates Committee, co-chaired the Events Committee, and was a member of the Finance Committee.

As a youth, Jason was heavily mentored by his grandparents, Hayley and Marjorie Dandridge. As they got into their 70’s and 80’s, Jason shared in many care giving duties with his mother and sisters. “I think back on my grandparents daily. They could have used a service like SCMS. It would have been extremely helpful for my mother, who was juggling work and a family of her own.”

Jason is married to SCMS CEO Janice Gibert. They have two children, Riley and Caroline. He is a graduate of Ole Miss where he got a B.A. in English and History. He enjoys running, cycling, hiking, camping, reading, playing with his border collie Roxy, and spending time with family and friends.

Ron Richmond : General Manager : Ron is an Ohio native that has lived in the Memphis area for over 40 years. He met his wife Cathy, during Memphis in May 30 years ago. Living in Collierville & Germantown over the past 25 years, they have raised 2 young men, Michael and Alan, Alan is a recent graduate of Mississippi State and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Michael is a recent graduate of Collierville High School and is now attending Mississippi State. Ron brings over 30 years of management experience to SCMS. In his free time, Ron enjoys traveling, music, golf, boating at Pickwick Lake and the family dog “Butters”.

Cathy Richmond : Hiring & Retention Manager : Cathy is a native Memphian who has always been involved in helping others. Cathy spent many years working with pre-school children and was a stay at home mom raising her two sons over the past 25 years. Cathy comes from a large family and has always known the importance of family and caring for others. She has always gone the extra mile, both with family and now with our community’s seniors and caregivers. Cathy joined Senior Care Management Solutions in the winter of 2010 and was responsible for manning the phones afterhours. Since then, she has performed many duties including her current position as the hiring manager in the summer of 2011. Cathy is married to Ron, our General Manager and enjoys spending time with family & friends, both here in the Memphis area as well as at Pickwick.

Darla Williams : Customer Support Representative : Darla joined the Senior Care team in August 2011. She graduated magna cum laude from Belhaven University with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is active in the local chapter, Mid South College of Healthcare Executives. Before joining the Senior Care team, Darla always had a passion for helping others, but especially seniors. Some of her earliest memories come from visiting her great-grandmother in a nursing home. “I witnessed how important it was for families to play an active role in their loved one’s care. I watched my family members speak up when they felt my great-grandmother and other residents were receiving mediocre care. I am grateful to work for a company that strives to raise the standard of care, which allows seniors to gracefully age in place”. In 2009, Darla learned firsthand how demanding the role of being a caregiver could be when she became the primary caregiver for her late grandmother, Lillian Anderson-Williams. Through her personal experience of being a caregiver for a loved one, Darla feels she connects with clients and caregivers on a deeper level. Darla resides in Hernando, MS with her 4 year old daughter, Desiree. She enjoys spending most of her time outdoors. Her hobbies include: cooking, working out, watching the Memphis Grizzlies and University of Memphis basketball games, fishing, riding four-wheeler’s, and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.
